Overzicht

Ionizing radiation offers various applications in industry and in the medical sector. It is a challenge to sufficiently protect the workers, public and environment against possible detrimental effects of radiation.

This training session is part of a series of sessions organized in the framework of the continuous professional development for radiation protection experts. The aim is to discuss the most recent status of relevant subjects in radiation protection for professionals responsible for the supervision of exposed workers, public and environment.

Depending on the relevance for the personal function, this training session is eligible as continuous professional development for experts in Health Physics (art. 73 Royal Decree 20 July 2001). A certificate of attendance will be provided.

Doelpubliek

This training session is primarily developed for experts in Health Physics. All professionals who are directly involved in the control or supervision of radiation protection issues can benefit from the knowledge, skills and competences gained at this training session.

Voorkennis

Knowledge of the basic principles in radiation protection is recommended, but not required.

Preparation

No preparation is required for this training course.

Prijs

The registration fee is € 150 (incl. VAT) and includes the course material and coffee break.
