Highlights 2024
Knowledge connects, progress empowers
Knowledge is the foundation of continuous growth and social progress. It starts with a single impulse. A single spark of inspiration with the power to change the world. Each idea, in turn, is constructed upon the legacy of previous generations. Through the ongoing collection of knowledge, we answer open questions and find concrete technological solutions. And with each step, we move closer to our goal: a better tomorrow. Sustainable. Healing. Innovative. And nuclear.
For us, 2024 was a year in which our knowledge grew and became increasingly intertwined. In the coming years, we’ll strengthen our momentum, connecting knowledge, ideas and people. Our goal is to spark more creative energy and scientific progress through a strong network of collaboration.

Key figures 2024
How many dedicated employees make up the team at SCK CEN? How often do we share our insights in scientific journals? And what results are we achieving as a knowledge centre? Our figures reveal not just what we do but, most importantly, how uniting knowledge, people, and disciplines fosters progress.
