Introduction
The calculation office has bought intranet sites to promote its work, share documentation, knowledge and softwares. Amongst the existing tools, there exist SharePoint portals to support team and project work. Webparts were already developed to display calculation and technical notes and drawings as well related to a specific project. We also began to develop webparts to display values coming from the data acquisition systems related to our experiments. The informatic environment is continuously changing and we need to adapt the tools to the new information structure.
In this frame, you should apply for a bachelor thesis to implement the necessary modifications and improvements.
Objectives
In this work, you should:
- adapt existing webparts to the new SAP project codes
- adapt existing webparts to connect to the new SQL databases
- introduce Ajax technologies for asynchronous refresh
- implement Microsoft chart controls to produce scientific dashboards
Knowledge of VB.NET & .NET framework required.
