Roger Van Geen laureate gives inspiring lecture series
With a firm handshake, Peter Baeten, Director-General of SCK CEN, congratulated the newest laureate of the Roger Van Geen Chair. The chair awards scientific excellence in nuclear research and a special commitment to knowledge transfer. "This time, that honour goes to Edmond Sterpin, professor of medical physics. It is not only a recognition of his achievements but also direct encouragement for the future. We look forward to his continued, scientific impact," said Peter Baeten. The laureate explores (the future of) proton therapy in an inspiring lecture series.
