ISOL@MYRRHA Progress | webinar
ISOL@MYRRHA is the ISOL facility under construction in MYRRHA phase1 | MINERVA at the Belgian Nuclear Research Center SCK CEN in Mol. MINERVA is part of the larger MYRRHA project centered around developing an accelerator driven system (ADS) aimed as a large research infrastructure. In present design, ISOL@MYRRHA will receive a proton beam of 100 MeV with an intensity up to 500 μA on target (200 μA for actinide targets).
ISOL@MYRRHA will feature a research program presently focused on three domains, namely precision fundamental studies, research with radioactive probes for solid state matter and radioisotope production for nuclear medicine.
