Calibrations and irradiations with Sr-90 / Y-90 β particles
for operational quantities like H*(10), Hp(10), Hp(0.07), and Hp(3)
An irradiator with two Sr-90 / Y-90 β sources is available for calibrations and irradiations of dosemeters. The calibrations and irradiations follow the recommendations of the ISO 6980 standard. The 30 cm distance is used with dose rates of about 3 mSv/h and 100 mSv/h. Multiple phantoms are available, for whole body, eye lens or extremities dosimetry. (015 CAL BELAC accreditation scope)
