Calibrations and irradiations with neutron sources of Cf-252 and 241Am-Be

Calibrations and irradiations with neutron sources of Cf-252 and 241Am-Be in terms of neutron fluence and derived operational quantities H*(10) and Hp(10) following the recommendations of ISO 8568 (015 CAL BELAC accreditation scope).

Neutron calibrations in a low scattering room of 10 m x 10 m x 5 m with (reference date 2021-05-05):

  • Cf-252 bare source with H*(10) from 100 uSv/h up to 6 000 uSv/h
  • 241Am-Be bare source with H*(10) from 2 uSv/h up to 140 uSv/h.
