Would you like to contribute to nuclear decommissioning and waste management as a team leader?

  • developing, validating, optimising, managing and implementing radiological measurement methodologies and programmes in the context of nuclear dismantling and waste management
  • organising, recording, data processing, managing and reporting measurement results
  • managing measurement devices (acquisition, evaluation, FAT, SAT, maintenance and QA/QC) and sources
  • managing one or more operators

To join this frontier, you'll need

  • bachelor degree in a technical or scientific field (e.g. electronics, physics, electromechanics, chemistry, etc.);
  • good organisational and communication skills to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary team environment;
  • interest in nuclear measurement techniques is a plus;
  • critical mind and strong sense of responsibility;
  • analytical mind with spatial awareness;
  • eagerness to learn and a sense of initiative;
  • good people management skills;
  • being prepared to work in controlled areas and areas with limited access, as well as in other locations than SCK CEN (e.g. NPP Doel).
