Will you help translate our needs into IT solutions?

You will be responsible for coordinating various IT software implementations on the ICT side.
Next to this you will also conduct the necessary analyses in those projects.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will coordinate a range of projects currently running at the ICT service. You will be reporting to the business project leader, and to line management.
  • You will monitor the progress and budget for the ICT activities, engaging in consultation with the stakeholders and supporting the project leader to make the translation between the business and the ICT service.
  • You will analyse the requirements and search for solutions along with the implementation team. To do so, you will need to become acquainted with a range of processes at SCK CEN.
  • You will lead the assigned implementation projects from beginning to end, if necessary supporting the implementation team with certain activities, and helping to exude the vision around the application landscape in doing so.
  • You are a strong people manager, encouraging collaborators involved, coordinating and motivating them during project implementation.
  • You will work to actively improve the ICT service provision and quality of business processes supported by ICT.

To join this frontier, you'll need

  • You have a master's degree. Preferably in ICT or a business area (commercial engineer, applied and economic sciences, etc.)
  • You have experience in coordinating implementations of software solutions
  • You have strong analytical skills, a constructive critical attitude; you have a perfect ability to empathise with the needs of end-users
  • You are flexible, results-oriented and able to prioritise
  • You are process-oriented with a proactive mindset
  • You are decisive, hands-on and communicative
  • You have a good knowledge of analysis techniques and methodologies such as Prince 2. Possessing some technical background knowledge in terms of Microsoft technology, databases and/or web services is a plus
