SCK•CEN will be organising the workshop "Nuclear Physics Research at the MYRRHA Accelerator" followed by the annual meeting of the "Belgian Research Initiative on eXotic nuclei ( BRIX)”.

This workshop is organised in the framework of the Interuniversity Attraction Poles (IAP) Programme of the Belgian Science Policy Office (P6/23) and will be held in Mol.

The development of the MYRRHA accelerator driven system that serves as a basis for the European experimental XT-ADS is one of the important activities of SCK•CEN. In this workshop we want to investigate the feasibility of using the high power proton beam that will become available in the MYRRHA accelerator driven system for fundamental research. This workshop is organised in the framework of the Interuniversity Attraction Pole network (P6/23) BriX of the Belgian federal government and will be followed by the annual BriX workshop.
