Performance Assessments

The main activities of the unit Performance Assessments are safety assessments of the disposal of radioactive waste and related hydrogeological research. More information on those activities can be found under the research programmes:

• Safety assessments for geological disposal
• Safety assessments for surface disposal
• Hydrogeology

For the safety assessments of geological disposal and hydrogeology the unit PAS works in close interaction with the expert group Waste and Disposal.
