Instrumentation service

The instrumentation service assists in several tasks, such as applications of air sampling for scientific purposes and other measuring campaigns. Many of these measuring stations are set up in the field or in a meteopark. The correct location of these installations is determined with the help of co-ordinates.

The instrumentation service also carries out chimney measurements. Measurements on industrial chimneys are carried out with the help of a calibrated measuring probe with which the velocity development in the chimney can be measured.

Moreover, other meteorological parameters are collected through a 120 meters high meteomast: temperature, wind velocity, wind direction, stability, reference tension and pluviometry. These parameters can be retrieved from the mast through an internal network.
