EUNDETRAF II was a training course with the objectives to centralise the European know-how and to transfer it to third parties. The main goal was to disseminate and share European decommissioning knowledge with those who are faced with the problem of decommissioning of nuclear facilities by holding annual training courses.
The European Nuclear Decommissioning Training Facility was provided by a consortium of European nuclear organisations formed under the sixth framework programme (FP6):
