Literature of Reliability

The following literature references are related to reliability of optical (photonics) components and devises in communications networks and systems. This is an informal list gathered within the participants of COST270, and is aimed to help for the work of COST270. The references are organized in three separate lists. Each list has the references in alphabetic order after the first author’s surname.

Lists A and B will be up-dated during COST270. These are gathered by the participants of COST270 during years 2000 - 2005, but not limited to those published by the participants.

List C is referring to the Final report of COST246, Appendix 1. (Tarja Volotinen, Willem Griffioen, Michel Gadonna and Hans Limberger, Reliability of Optical Fibers and Components, Final report of COST 246, Springer-Verlag, London, (1999).

However, if You, Dear Reader of this Web site, know some other good relevant literature references on this field, please, send the information (and a copy of the publication) to the secretary of COST270, kirje.laatikko@ofcon.se.
