Objectives:
The objective of WP1 is to survey the present state, strength and weaknesses, on nuclear education in Europe.
Description of the work
Task 1.1: draw up a questionnaire
Task 1.2: collect the information
The intended procedure is to contact one national officer in each country and the JRC, special attention will be given to already existing national and international clusters, and to collect information on the (national) nuclear education (engineering but also waste management and radiation protection) programmes such as:
- institutions offering qualified nuclear education
- facilities available at these institutions or in close reach
- personnel available and prospects
- type and contents of theoretical and practical courses
- prerequisites
- language course available
- textbooks available
Task 1.3: digest the information. Draw conclusions. Formulate recommendations. Write the report
Deliverables:
The deliverable (D1) will be a report, which will include
- a review of the current activities
- conclusions and recommendations.
